Casimir was not near his home, although, he usually was not, so that particular detail was of little import. This time, however, it was intentional. He had been plagued by dreams of late - and yes, it was slightly unnerving - about his family, his sap of a brother in particular.
He had believed a visit home would rid him of the sudden influx of thoughts which originated from the dream; it had, after a time. It had taken copious amount of alcohol and candy, all consumed in a rather gluttonous manner. To travel away for that trivial reason (he wasn't going to even consider the filth anymore) alone was idiotic; so, he had obtained another. He had gotten, with a bit of trickery on his part, although he preferred believing that it had been charm, to garner an invitation to a social, and of some political importance, event.
The evening had began barely tolerable; it had been a quick decline into excruciating. He had finished his business there - a talk with a former partner. Now, though, he was sitting a low-lying tree, just off the main road. Red grass twisted beneath him, the sky dark above.
Casimir adjusted his vest, buttoning his suit closed to prevent the chill. He had put on a pair of silver glasses for the event; the spectacles remained on, making everything slightly more crisp. He let his eyes narrow, at peace, lifting one leg over the other; what else should he partake in tonight?

How she missed her love. Casimir has left quite some time ago, dreams had plagued his mind and messed up his oh so controlled emotions. Thosi had stayed on the Island known as hell... oh how far from thr truth could they get? Anyway, being the only Hound Mistress able to control all of them meant she was needed. Even more so when a bitch was due.
Now she was free and able to travel the Islands once more, of course not alone. Two pups, the size of Irish wolfhounds walked beside her, she felt like a child standing between the pair, even in her heels. Her hands rested on their backs, her wings folded against her back. Her hair hiding them from sight, making her seem like a human girl
Suprisingly Thosi and the hounds were taking the main road, in the distance a simple glint caught her eyes, and with a click of her tounge one of the hounds bounded off to the glint. This didn't mean however that the pai left behind stopped their journey.
Nearing the other hound Thosi saw her laying down next to a male, this sight made her heart skip a beat.
"Why do you always have that effect on me, darling?"
Laughing Thosi allowed her voice to be carried by the air to her love. Clicking her tounge again the other hound went ahead of her without so much as a pause. Oh how fun being Hound Mistress was. A little ironic if i think about it... but Thosi didn't think about it often. Laughing Thosi knelt beside her love and offered a kiss on the cheek. The bag at her side held so much in it that she was prepared for most things, but at the same time nothing.

There were dogs, and then there was Thosi's voice. He hadn't expected her company, nor had he made any invitation to her when he had departed. The demon had the habit of coming to him, finding him in one of her various trips out of Hell; a curious thing, but he thought about it very little. Her presence was familiar, comfortable; she was brighter than the inane morons that he had been speaking to earlier in the night, even if was only a margin.
In addition, the female knew him, without quite being aware of his nature. It was charming, the merest bit uplifting, to have a creature such as that on call.
The dogs were less charming; those two had yet to learn their role and he hardly had the patience to teach them now, to adore and follow him (perhaps like Cosette, though none had been able to reach her level of devotion). For the time being, he glanced at him and they quieted.
"I haven't the faintest idea," He spoke plainly, but was rather amused. He smiled as she kissed him, but made no move to stand or return the affection. He had not the correct temperament to play the attentive lover tonight; perhaps later.
"What brings you here, love?"

The emotions coming from Casimir angered Thosi slightly, mixed emotions, none clear all confusing but all hinting that she wasn't welcome. In all honestly she had only come here because she loved the Island, it reminded her so much of home. Her life before Casimir allowed Thosi to smile and almost have it appear as though it belongs.
Casimir, her love, was deep in thought and she disliked it when he was in this sort of mood. To say Thosi was in a pleasant mood herself was wrong, in fact she had brought the two pups out to escape the other beings in hell, then she just had to come across her darling. Never have they had an argument, never had any reason too, Thosi herself was pretty easy going and providing Casimir didn't get 'dirty' he was fine.
Now though Thosi was ready to watch heads roll, and when he glanced at the pups she saw that flicker of something that made her click her fingers and make the pups return to her side. Stepping back after she kissed his cheek she shook her head, a laugh that her mother would have been proud of escaped her as she rested her hands on the hounds heads.
"Nor i, my darling. Although i came here to hunt with the pups."
Her voice was flat, not that she cared if she offended her love, smiling she removed her hands from the hounds and spun on her heels. The pups looked at her confused as she started to walk away without any gesture of farewell to her love. One sat where it stood the other just looked between the pair in shock.
The direction Thosi walked in would bring her to the Crimson Plain, hunting there was difficult for most as Casimir would know, just as Thosi in this form only had fire, emotion and her appearance to work with. How would she hunt in this form?
Simple she wouldn't, but would Casimir understand that or simply assume she had placed the collars needed on certain hounds to bring them to her?

That was a little inane, Thosi; not charming at all. Casimir tilted his head to the side, owlishly, peering through his glasses. He stood up slowly, uneasy on his feet; drinks usually had no affect on him, but he had consumed a bit too much at that deplorable event.
"My, must you be a killjoy, Thosi," Casimir purred, loud enough for the demon to hear, although it wasn't his intent. He was acting inappropriately; behaving more like the aristocrat who had met Momo, rather than the lover that he had created for Thosi. It would not be in his best interest to continue to act in such a manner - but, he was distracted for his thoughts by a memory of a thief (two, if he wanted to be exact).
"Marjorie, at least, had the decency to preach reason," What is yours, sweet, for leaving so soon? Please tell, the curiosity is overwhelming! That could not be said; it was sarcastic, mocking even inside his head, his lips curling into a smile already. "She even provided entertainment - well, perhaps, not her, but she lead the way. And wasn't it entertaining, playing that silly game - strip poker, I believe." Their conversation during the game had been revealing, interesting - not on his part, but Hosa and Cookie had shared plenty; hmm, how did that game turn out? No matter, really.

Thosi didn't need to see her love stand up, she could hear him do so easily enough, oh how inelegant Casimir was when drunk. She had no idea where her love had been nor did Thosi really care, she just wanted to be away from everyone for the time being.
She knew he was distracted but didn't care now, his words flooded her mind. his words were purred and she knew they weren't intended to be heard by her. Oh well he shouldn't have gotten drunk.
Words carried on the air again, those she could ignore, but the questions with his emotions are what made her turn almost like lightning, it was that scary speed that females seem to have when angered. Curiosity flooded her mind and she feed from it, it was the only strong and sure feeling she had felt for months.
"Why am i leaving so soon, you wonder. I'll give you all the reasons you want, my love..."
Before she could answer he smiled and spoke again, strip poker?! Oh well that just added to the list of reasons. Growling Thosi crossed her arms over her chest and smiled so sweetly she was sure that Casimir would be fooled even now that she was his lover. Her appearance held that sense of anger, wisdom, age but also the sense of youth.
"Of course i shall give you a reason. In fact i shall give you many. I approach and get the sense i am not welcome, even as just some form of company, not so much a lover not even a pet for you. Actually it seemed to me the pups were more welcome to be at your side that i was."
The pups looked at Thosi and shrank back behind Casimir as they were mentioned, but they made no sound at all.
"I grow tired of the long hours, being the scum that holds a position of power, my darling. You hold a equal rank in society to me yet your are valued more, and to tell the truth today the sight of anyone sickens me! Even you make my stomach twist and knot itself."
Sighing Thosi shook her head and turned around again. Her wings unfolded from her back and grew, changing color and shape. They became like butterfly wings still holding the resemblance of her dragon-like wings. Blond hair became silver and hid her body from sight as her bones broke, lengthened, reshaped and repaired themselves again. Her wings still grey and became easily as large if not slightly larger than a small dragons.
"I am going hunting, go and play strip poker with the wench and thief again if you wish."

So, the kurwa finally deigned herself to answer him; how nice of her. Casimir crossed his arms, tapping his fingers against his arms, idly watching as the dogs inched towards him. Anger was...difficult to comprehend; it was an emotion that he understood, yes, but didn't quite follow. It was irrational, made you make a fool of yourself; better than love, certainly, but unfavourable, nonetheless. Last time he had been confronted with it, there had been a demon, and it had taken place upon a beach - a presently glassy beach, if he recalled correctly. Thosi's voice interrupted his musings; he attended to her.
Was she angry at him for not being at his best? His worst was better than her; she did not have the right to judge. How familiar her speech was, though. He didn't like the sensation. Green eyes narrowed at her intently, sharp and sparkling; his attention was on her, he did not even notice when one of the pups brushed against his leg.
His rank in society? He hardly knew what it was - he nearly asked, if she was feeling under valued, why wouldn't she try to work to a higher rank? It was easy enough; he had done so since he was young. Then she claimed that he sickened her, ha! - and that was why the speech seemed so familiar; the emotions faded away from him. It wasn't verbatim, not by any means - a small sound of displeasure escaped his mouth - but it was kin to the speech his brother had given him, as the idiot disowned him.
No, no. He didn't want to remember that, because that was horrible, filthy, disgusting day - and no. His hands tightened; a part of his mind raced, acting under the command of hiding the memory, only it took more than that, burying every memory of the days since then, leaving them to exist as faded imprints.
He dimly heard her say another thing, the last of her rant.
"It was before I met you, Miss Thosi - besides, they're dead now," He replied, his voice absent of venom, oddly numb, answering the way he assumed would satisfy her; then, even the memory of that was gone, and it was just a statement that he had uttered without reason. Casimir's eyes narrowed in confusion.

Anger, it had overwhelmed the once small demon, now she stood on all fours in her true form, She was seen as a powerful demon in this form, but her human one was weak and pathetic, she took those few steps needed that made her muzzle only inches from Casimir's face.
Thosi wasn't in truth angry at Casimir for anything, she was disappointed and ashamed of herself. She had gone to leave hunting so soon because she didn't deem herself worthy of being with Casimir. Lowering her head Thosi tried to shift back, but the sound of displeasure from Casimir made her growl, it vibrated through her body. His hands tightened and Thosi smiled.
What was her love doing? Thosi sat on the ground in front of Casimir, each breath out through her nose made his hair move like the grass around them. The hounds didn't know who they should be with. 'Miss Thosi'? or Casimir?
They choose their mistress because she held the power to send them back to hell, this she done by licking each pup on the head, fire engulfed them both without burning and they returned to the Island of Hell.
"What has changed between us Casimir? My heart still skips a beat when i see you but now, i don't know anymore i just don't."
Thosi sighed and turned away, she no longer cared what Casimir thought of her, it didn't matter, she wasn't worth the ground she walked upon. It would be easier just to return back to Hell and stay there as the Hound Mistress for eternity.

What was his s - no, this wasn't her; she did not have wings, she was not a demon. Casimir blinked. The demon - a female, in a non-human state - sat in front of him; he assumed that she was the aforementioned "Miss Thosi". The woman made the pups disappear. His lips parted in confusion and disappointment; why had she done that? He murmured a 'goodbye, houndies', his voice superficially sad. The female had spoke sadly as well; it was surprisingly good, very realistic. He committed the sound to memory.
Ah. He should probably answer her, now. That was the socially correct action, was it not?
"Proszę, nie rozumiem," His words were polite, but sharp and concise. Casimir waited a brief moment for a response, but did not receive an adequate one. She hadn't been conversing in that language - perhaps she wouldn't understand. He wasn't well versed in her tongue, but he would make an attempt. "Please, I don't understand, Miss. How do we know each other?" He swallowed after speaking, masking his surprise; he had spoken smoothly, without error, and with an accent unfamiliar to him. Very odd.
Casimir glanced at his surroundings; they were not in Hell. He resisted looking at himself to see if anything else had changed; it was irrelevant if it had, but he would satisfy the slight curiosity in a moment.

His word confused her, did he not know who she was? Her confusion lead too the younger pair of pups coming to her side, they barked happily and ran straight for Casimir. They were small in Hell hound terms, they only came to Casimir's waist when standing, and they favored Casimir over Thosi for some reason.
At first the words spoken by Casimir made no sense but made a chill run down Thosi's back, oh how she loved to hear him speak in that language. His words in the comman language puzzled her enough for her to shift back to her human state. She looked up at Casimir and smiled sweetly.
"An interresting past, shall we say, Darling."
Thosi had noticed the change in her lover and couldn't remain angry at herself. She pulled two cloak's from her bag, both rather thin, placing one around her shoulders she spread the other on the ground beside her and gestured for Casimir to sit with her.
"If you sit i'll explain everything, or if you wish read The Gold notebook and find out yourself."
Thosi smiled and took some candy from her bag and offered some to Casimir, taking a piece herself. What had happened to her love? Was it her fault?

"Zamknij się," Casimir commanded as the the pups barked, but without cruelty, allowing them to brush against him. Filthy things, he was sure; only purified by the fires of his homeland, but they were sweet and adoring. "Czesc, houndies." Casimir greeted them still, brushing his hands up against their fur, only to find the sensation was muted. He looked at his hands, flexing one. They were covered in black gloves. Those were new, very novel.
The female turned into her human state, smiling. He smiled back, not sure why, but feeling as though it was necessary for him to do so. She spoke again, in a volume louder than he was accustomed to, saying Darling. "Siostra-?" He quickly looked around - No, she wasn't there, then, why? - but turned his gaze back on her when she began to speak again. Frowning, he sat down, sitting with his legs criss-crossed.
"Darling isn't my name, Miss." And the Gold Notebook? What was that? He took the candy from the female, relishing in it's taste, before sifting through the bag at his side. He pulled out a shining, well-bound notebook; with his name engraved on the cover, wonderful. He flipped through the book until he found the name "Thosi" in a cursive, spidery font, like his, but not his at all. He wasn't in the mood to read it all, not at the moment, but quickly read the first point.
"Thosi: Demon, blonde hair, mały kobieta. Interaction should be polite, gracious, but not overwhelmingly loving - persona12.3.
Casimir closed the notebook, slipping it back into the bag. "I'd prefer if you would share it with me, Miss, if it isn't too much of a trouble."

The younger pups seemed to bring joy to her lover, his mentality seemed to have returned to that of a child. Why was that? Then he looked at his hands as if he only just noticed the gloves that Thosi had grown so used to him wearing, of course the actual gloves themselves changed but gloves where always on Casimirs being.
His smile cheered her, why had she been so angry? Honestly she didn't know, maybe it was stress getting to her? Now she confused him, how she disliked this side of Casimir, had his mind returned purely to a younger state, it didn't matter. He sat down beside her and took the candy. Thank the Gods that he still liked candy!
"I call you darling, But if you wish for now i will use your name Casimir, and please call me Thosi. Miss doesn't suit me."
Now he looked at the book, Thosi knew only that he wrote in it, but the contents were purely for his eyes only. So she sat in silence as he flipped through the pages, he read quickly and the note book was closed. His voice came once more and Thosi nodded.
"Well guess the beginning is a good place to start. Finer details and things i do not know you shall have to look up."
Smiling Thosi closed her eyes, the pups came to them and lay beside them, one at Casimirs side, the other at Thosi's. Humming Thosi throw some power from her bag into the air, once it was free of her hand she clicked her fingers and flames burned strong in front of them.
"The first time we met was a little...odd, shall i say. At the time was still earning my money in some interesting ways, anyway because of that i managed to get you alone and we had a chat about some things. Mostly your sense of style when dressed as a girl."
While Thosi spoke the flame danced and within them a scene was set, what Thosi didn't say the flames showed, when speech was involved separate flames of different colors formed them. Thosi was amazed at how much she had spoken in that first meeting. So much for the big bad Demon.
Even as the scene played out in front of them again Thosi was rather shocked at how much affection she had shown toward the Haunt. Smiling she continued.
"As i was saying, this meeting is rather odd by my standards and I'm sure it is in your top 10 odd meetings. Yes is you don't remember everything i say in this meeting is truthful, i cannot give you the feelings felt by you or i in this meeting, but simply take note of the words and body language. They should be clear."
At certain part Thosi caused the fire to form words, to possible help Casimir remember. Story telling was so much more fun when you didn't really have to say anything. When it came to that song Thosi smiled. She remembered how odd it had felt to have her mind and feelings read.
"You picked that song up from my mind."
Now the fire showed them sitting next to each other and faded to just a small flicker that one of the pups pounced on. All of the hounds were used to the flames of their mistress and knew it would not burn them.
________ Sorry the whole story telling kinda just poofed from me but yeh, what the flames are showing is basically 'Working role' as if someone was watching them.

The beginning was always the starting place; to start at the end would be ludicrous and impossible. Silly demon. He kept quiet, however, keeping from making a sarcastic comment, believing that it would be unproductive in the long run. He didn't bother to ask the questions forming on the edge of his mind; what did the demon mean by 'interesting ways'? It couldn't have been that fascinating if she was so reluctant to share the information with him.
The fire the female controlled drew his attention firmly out of his mind; he stared at it, not with awe, but with a expression of childlike fascination. He never denied that he had an attraction to shiny tricks - the more flamboyant, the better - and he did not attempt to rid himself of the expression, small as it was. The purpose of her action took a moment more to comprehend; a simple scene began to play. Casimir tilted his head again, not understanding his - supposedly, his future and current self - actions. In that garb, he resembled Darling, although, dresses were favoured more so by AEsi. He took a mental notation.
"I am sure, Thosi, " He said, as she spoke again. It was bizarre, he registered, though it seemed quite normal to him. The demon claimed that their affection would be clear. Perhaps it was, to her; his acting had been spectacular, honestly, if a little touchy. Odd, even if it explained the gloves.
She spoke again and he turned towards her, still and emotionless; she was aware of his ability to read minds? Was his older self so flippant, so careless, that he revealed everything to this girl? Casimir ran his tongue over his lips, removing the candy from the surface, and adjusted his gaze towards the fire once again. He rested his head in his hand. He posed an inquiry, curiosity flowing through him.
"It's alright if you don't know, dziewczyna, but why was I dressed as AEsi?"

Thosi watched the pup swallow the fire and sighed smiling, Thosi had felt the looming question in his mind but decided she would leave it for the time being. But the look on his face when she made the powder turn to fire warmed her heart.
She saw the slight 'disbelif' on his face a shrugged, this would be like them becoming a pair all over again... the question is would it really happen all over again or was what she felt for him a single bladed sword?
She spoke about the song and Casimir turned to her, he was really jugding himself by what he saw. Sighing as he removed the remaining candy from his lips. Now came that wonderful feeling. Pure curiosity, runes on her wings lit up unseen as she feed unpon the pure and strong emotion. Who needed food and water when you had the emotions of others?
"I think you were on a job, Casimir. It should be in the book, maybe a page or two before i am mentioned."
Since she was talking Thosi smiled and lay back her wings tucked tightly against her back hiding the runes.
"And just to clarify, that by 'interesting ways' i mean being a profesional whore... and you didn't pay for that night."
Winking Thosi laughed and ran her fingers through her hair smiling. How good it was being back to her normal self... of course if asked she might mellow the pervert in her down... but she will never be caged and silenced. Life was too short to be a clean, innocent little girl.
That and she was a Demon... kinda in the race description. Right?

He put his hand on the gold notebook, but did not open it. When did he begin to do "jobs"? It had never been a priority or a necessity for him to work, not for money nor entertainment; if the need had arisen, surely his brother would have taken care of it, although the idiot had been behaving poorly of late. Perhaps he would have to talk to his kin, persuade and calm his wavering mind. Casimir did a sweep of the area, his eyes a burgundy shade; the red-haired Haunt was nowhere to be found. His eyes narrowed, his jaw clenching with a disproportional amount of anger.
The kurwa spoke again, not yet aware of his irritation. And surprise, surprise; the title suited her quite well. He smoothly stood to his feet, an expression of cool disgust display itself on his face - not hidden, but not overt. Casimir crossed his arms, hugging himself to distract from the fact that she had touched him, that she had spread her contamination onto him.
A whore - what was he doing around her? Why had his brother allowed her to come so close to him? She must have done something to Belair, to make him leave his little, nineteen year old brother (though he was dimly aware that he was no longer nineteen) he so adored and guarded.
"What is it that you did to my brother? His voice was calm, his expression carefully cheerful, but his body was wired with tension.
