His hand went to the notebook, Confusion joined the Curiosity. Thosi herself wondered what her lover was thinking. She knew how his body reacted when he was searching the area and the pups leaned close to the pair and started to drift off into the realm of dreams.
Well now she bored, Casimir stood and Thosi sat upright, oh how she missed that look of disgust! He crossed his arms and Thosi stood in one fluid movement. Stretching Thosi felt her wings crack open and her sensitive ears picked up the leathery sound of her wings moving.
His words made Thosi laugh and without making any other sound, the hounds stood and moved to sit at her sides. Placing her hands on their heads Thosi shock her head.
"I don't even know your family."
Thosi spoke the truth, hell she didn't even know her father! Sighing Thosi took a piece of candy from her bag and popped it into her mouth. It fizzed and made Thosi shiver, smiling the tiny Demons rubbed the pups heads.
What would her love do now?

Casimir bristled, searching her mind for any sign that she was lying to him. Creatures, the peons, his own family, often lied to him; he found it hilarious that they thought they could hide their lives and untruths from him. She, fortunately, was speaking the truth. At least his older self - how much older, he had yet to determine, though he guessed no more than a few decades - wasn't impulsive enough to tell everything about his family.
His brother was still missing, however, and that need to be rectified. The Haunt tightened his grip around himself, head dropping until he was looking at the ground.
"Perhaps...perhaps you can help me find him then? His voice was pleading, desperate, quiet and strained. White hair brushed against his face, his eyes turning green once again.

Thosi was glad that her and Casimir never spoke of family, family for the tiny demon was a very unwelcome thought. Mother, Lillian, she was the only family Thosi ever truly had. She was gone and Thosi was living on with the love of her life.
Casimir hugged himself tighter and Thosi smiled weakly as her love lowered his head, the fire the pup had swallowed was still strong within the essence and presence of the puppy. Pulling that element from the air around them Thosi held a hand 'bathed' in fire out to Casimir, the fingers touched his chin raising his head slightly.
The fire was warm to Casimir but cold to Thosi, she held no need for warmth from the fire so she gave it to Casimir instead. Not only would the fire cleanse the hand that she used to lift his chin but it might also bring back that charming smile.
"We will help you find him."
Thosi let her fingers brush his cheek and she smiled warmly as the puppies rubbed against his legs offering their own form of protection. Her hand was still covered by the flame and she brought it back to her side.
"Do you remember when we discovered i had control over fire? You protected me, and i you, from that Vampire."
She knew it was a question that would seem out of the blue, but she wanted to know if he could remember all that they had done together. Standing on the top of a ruined watch tower looking out over the beautiful fields where Thosi grew up, them attending that ball in which they caused havoc.
Fun times that she hoped he would remember. A half remembered event is not worth remembering at all.

"Please don't touch me," He said softly, but without malice or any intent to harm. This time, he was merely stating what his desires were (to stand alone, without the slimely, overly-warm touches of others) and expecting her compliance. His aura was as it was before, cool and reserved, tight and controlled, if perhaps a bit emptier than what he had previously allowed to seep out to Thosi.
He coughed slightly, looking over the demons shoulder, gazing at the sky. Absentmindedly, he noted that it was getting late, yet his body was not displaying any indicators of tiredness. Obviously, this body was accustomed to a nocturnal schedule. How odd.
Thosi spoke again.
"No," Casimir answered abruptly, realizing a second later that his reply was neither polite, nor the niceties that a persona 12 variation required. "I am sorry, but I do not recall anything after my nineteenth birthday. He amended in a kinder tone, gesturing apologetically, looking at her over his glasses.

His words made Thosi pull her hand back sharply, she had raised his head but didn't let her fingers brush his cheek. Sighing she still spoke and let the flame burn. Smiling she flexed her wings and twisted her upper body, making her hips, knees and ankles crack loudly.
The sky was getting darker and Thosi wondered if her hair had gained that copper hue from the setting sun. Smiling at Casimir's reaction she shook her head.
"No need for apologize. Now where would your brother most commonly be found?"
Thosi didn't know much about her lovers family but he didn't know anything about her family either. Thosi didn't tell any of her past nor was she really about too. Sighing she stroked the Puppies heads. Humming a tune that Casimir may or may not be familiar with.

Where was his brother to be found? That was a very numerous list. He pinched the bridge of his nose, almost as to stave off a headache. Casimir began to construct a mental list, but then considered speaking out loud. He had requested her help, if only to keep her close to him and ease the burden of searching for his kin; the haunt might as well utilize his resources.
"Normally, I would say somewhere in Hell, but if as much time has passed as I suspect, then he could be anywhere. However, I doubt that he is very far from where I am," He glanced at her again, with a very possessive, confidant smile, "He is quite attached to me."
His gaze fell over his bag once again; ah, perhaps, there was another resource that he yet to fully exploit. Casimir turned on his heel, and picked up the notebook (not in his bag, but rather close to it, yes). He flipped open the book impatiently, looking for any date - there was one on the second page, and he turned back to it quickly. It was coded, but done so in an uncomplicated (and certainly unnecessary way), that he figured it within seconds. Of course, when he did, he threw the book down in frustration. 30 was not close enough. ---------

Thosi giggled as Caismir pinched the bridge of his nose, she knew Casimir too well to think he asked her to help because he though he couldn't do it alone. No he asked because his task would be easier and if they ran into trouble then there would be something between him and the treat.
She listened to his words and shook her head slightly, if her loves brother was in Hell then the task of finding him would be easy. well that is provided she knew what he looked liked. The flame at her hand roared to life and Thosi threw it to the air, and gestured towards it.
"Moldable flame, touch it and concentrate on what you wish it to apear like, colors aswell. If you can show me what your brother looks like the hounds can search Hell."
Thosi was breathing slightly heavier than normal now and her hair that had taken on a golden hue was slowly becoming as white as her loves. she was using too much energy and needed to feed from something soon. A strong emotion or natural fire would be enough to stop her collasping.
Of course this was all after she had watched him move to pick up the book. Seeing the book go flying to the ground Thosi has decided that this little group should get on the road and do something other than stand around talking.
To think she was ready to leave him over silly little emotions and now she was looking for his brother with him. She didn't recall his family ever being mentioned but she didn't care really.
Once the flame was molded Thosi would send the pup's back with the image to send to the other hounds. If Casmir's brother was on Hell Thosi would know about it as soon as any hound saw him.

He took the flame into his hands, but it remained the same. Casimir searched his mind for an image of his brother, who, all the sudden, had become a fleeting thought. The flame contorted as he went through images of the people who he had become acquainted with in previous years, but his brother's face continued to elude him. He began to get some sort of picture - a red haired youth with blue eyes, briefly displaying itself within in the flames - before the only image that associated itself with the word brother was red. A dark, bloody red, splattery and dripping; dark red flame dripping off his hand.
The haunt stared at it with some degree of fascination. The blood-flame, as he now deemed it, spread itself across his fingers, sliding down his arms as he raise his hand. Vaguely, he was aware that he should be disgusted by the sight, but couldn't bring himself to rectify his expression.
This was not his brother, obviously. It was not helpful, he knew - and, with that thought, it lost all attributes which made it intriguing. Casimir returned to searching through his mind, ignoring the blood-flame twisting around his fingers. He required a clear image of his brother for this, whatever she wished to do, work. He brought to his forefront of his mind the memory of his birthday, that last thing that he was sure had happened. There they were celebrating, his brother giving him gifts, drinks - and, yelling. An argument. It was reluctant to show itself completely, so he prodded at it, forcing the memory to play.
And, well, it did. Accompanied by all the memories which had been temporarily hidden from him.
"Darling, I am sure that you have an adequate reason, but what is going on here?" Casimir asked, voice questioning and more indulgent than that of previous. His brother's face was shown in, what he assumed, was malleable flame - conjured by Thosi; his arms, rather, his coat and gloves, were covered in what appeared to be blood, although, he doubted that. WHY. Honestly, they had been arguing, and then there was a blank; he was missing a vital piece of information, regarding memory loss, if his guess was correct.

She watched as he took the flame into his hands, for some time it remained the same and Thosi started to grow worried. She began to think her lover had forgotten everything again, then the flame became to contort into so many different images it was hard for Thosi too see just one.
That flame was linked to her mind which meant that she saw all the images twice. Her mind was being twisted and watching as a face stayed within the flame only slightly longer than the other, she smiled but then that flame became like blood.
The flame spread across his fingers and Thosi felt as if she was that flame, the connection between her and it had grown with the more manipulating of the flame done. Now she felt herself sliding down his arm, her mind had become a toy unknown to Casmir.
Shivering Thosi felt her knees grow weak and she felt lightheaded. Once her lover spoke Thosi lost her concentration on standing upright and feel to her knees. Suddenly she laughed Perfect height, if i was in the mood.
"You decided to become 18 again, i think."
Thosi saw the image of Casimirs brother and wanted the shrink back, she had a bad feeling about him.
"You wanted to find your brother, thats why the flame is there."
Thosi was so tired, that she had to dismiss the fire. The larger of the puppies barked at the fire letting Thosi know they knew it and the image was comitted to memory, and she let the flame vanish into nothing.

Casimir smirked, raising one of his eyebrows; it was not as though he disbelieved her, she was intelligent enough to not deceive him, only that the situation was highly unlikely. He didn't feel it was of great importance to question her about the ordeal, however; at eighteen, he was able to lie well enough to not be suspect, even if his manners and personas had not be as sufficiently developed as they were now. The situation, he thought, placing a candy into his mouth, had been tiring for Thosi, perhaps. She certainly was exhibiting signs of exhaustion, he noted with no particular degree of affection or care. He checked the time, extending a tendril of power; it was late, but not overly so. Still, it wouldn't be unreasonable to go to be soon.
Casimir laughed as the demon, his love, spoke again. Find his brother? Of all the ridiculous quests that his younger mind-set could have chosen to pursue - he looked down at Thosi, removing his glasses and tucking them into his coat pocket.
"My brother's dead, love," The haunt smiled, adjusting his expression to appear a little bit bitter. "I sincerely doubt that we would be finding him anywhere." Except as a corpse, but even that was dubious - bordering on impossible. No matter, they would not deal with that issue tonight. Casimir offered a hand to Thosi.
"Shall we find somewhere to sleep?"

Thosi let her hair fall infront of her face, panting lightly. The pup's stood close to their mistress the smaller one held her head low supporting Thosi's body, stopping her from falling forward.
Thosi flinched at the sound of Casimir's laugh and raised her head slightly. If no-one knew better they would think he had just broken & tamed the hound Mistress. Seeing him remove his glasses made Thosi smiles.
His words made Thosi shake her head, whimpering much like a beaten dog she shrank back. She didn't want to touch her lover, his touch would bring back that face. Sighing Thosi looked up into the eyes of her love.
"H-his not dead. His not dead Casimir!"
Thosi wanted to scream at him but could only manage a soft whisper. She could see his face in her mind still, engraved into her memory by the fire. Shaking her head violently Thosi tried to stand, be it with help by her lover or the hounds she stood on shakey legs and need the support from something

"He is alive?" He murmured softly, grip tightening around her wrist. He did not wait for an affirmative or denial, tearing open his psyche to enter hers; he required - NEEDED - an immediate answer. It was in the forefront of her mind - yes, she truly, truly believed that his brother was alive - those thoughts accompanied by a sickly, quivering, heart-pounding emotion. He stepped back, letting her hand go, retreating back into his own mind; Casimir swallowed, rubbing his arms gently, attempting to get rid of that filthy feeling, body cringing from being in contact with a foreign emotion. He ignored the sensation. No, he couldn't pay attention to that; he had bigger issues to contend with.
He turned back to Thosi, nails digging into his palms. He was no longer smiling.
"Where is he?" Casimir hissed, red colour dripping into his irises. He had not the state of mind, not after the revelation, to play pretend, to play that he was grateful, pleased - ha! - to discover that his brother was still alive. His brother - that inane, senseless, asinine, vile, impurity - should not be alive, should not be bothering him now.

Thosi nodded at Casimirs question, his brother was alive and well. In truth he was a demon, although a low one but that didn't matter. What mattered was Thosi could see his brother through the eyes of her hound, oh the hounds weren't scared of him but she was.
Gasping as her loves grip tighented Thosi, felt hm rip open her mind and almost screamed in the pain it caused. Her connections with the hounds were shut instantly to avoid them feeling this pain. Being let go meant she fell forward to her hands and knees panting and shaking with the pain and tiredness of this meeting. Never had she been so hurt without any physical harm done.
With her hair over her face Thosi heard the question and growled. Lifting her head up she grinned, although it was pain filled she managed to smile. Meeting his red eyes Thosi used his emotions to convey the image, and took his hand.
Being in pain didn't mean she couldn't move fast, nor did it mean she couldn't use her magic to bring them to the location of the hound that had last see his brother. Still on her hands and knees Thosi pointed in the direction that his brother had travelled.
The oldest hound in Thosi care growled at Casimir and moved the stand between him and Thosi. She wasn't happy that Thosi was hurt nor did she like that Casimir was angry and seemed willing to kill.
"Take the pups."
The tiny demon's words were more a whisper on the wind than true sound, maybe he wouldn't hear?

They were in hell. How pleasant, how wonderful, all mixed in the sensation of joyous delight - and he was being sarcastic, because there was no other was he could think, coherently, without being the least amount biting. Belair was here; Casimir could sense that, the tendrils of his mind as easy to see and comprehend as ever. It made him sick, made his skin crawl, as though an infection, a filthy contagion, was crawling under his skin - 'take the pups'.
He turned around slowly, grinning cheerfully; his arms were crossed loosely, his every movement elegant and smooth.
"Why, mały kobieta, I'm not going after him now, silly," If his was a child, he may have giggled; as it was, his tone lilted up, teasing. "No, no, no. I have preparations to make." Casimir spun, moonlight shining in his eyes, murmuring to himself, planning, planning, always planning. He stopped and looked at Thosi again, intent on her, barely aware of the presence of the hell hound, just now realizing that she seemed to be distress.
"I'm sorry for the pain, but I just had to know," Casimir frowned, clasping his hands behind him. "You understand, don't you? Ignoring her response, if she gave on at all, he continued speaking; with his finger, he drew an invisible symbol in the air. "Rest, Thosi. I will find you in an hour, kay?" With that and a sugar-sweet grin, he disappeared into the timestream.

They were back home, great. Thosi pulled her hand away some time ago but not noticed until now. Her fingers were dug into the ground because of her pain and anger. Now her love spun to face her. He was grinning cheerfully. Thosi and the hound infront of her growled at the same time once he spoke.
Casimir was behaving oddly, even more so than normal, he spun and the moonlight made him look almost angelic. Sighing thosi ignored his murmurs and glared at him when he stopped.
His words.
They alone were painfull to her now.
He frowned and Thosi lowered her head and heard the the deep snarl from the hound in front of her. She knew exactly when the snap of her powerful jaws would sound, and it made Thosi smile. The pups were no longer beside her but now beside the bitch infront of her.
That grin again as he vanished into the time stream, it made that tear rolling down Thosi face almost of joy, not pain. 'Rest, Thosi.' She shook her head, she couldn't rest, not with the hounds to attend to, she could never rest.
Sobs echoed around her and the comforting growls and whines of the hounds joined the sad sound. Thosi was in too much pain to move, and too confused to pull herself together in order to do her job or even remember that Belair was somewhere close by.
Casimir would find her in an hour, but would she want to see him in an hour?
Would she still be like this in an hour?
Would she even be alive in an hour?
Shaking her head violently she closed her wind tightly against her back and let her arms give way, allowing her to curl into a ball on her side. She didn't notice the hounds lay around her hiding her from sight, nor would she notice anything else until the hounds made her aware of anything.
