Shas had seen the slight frown but paid no attention to it, he turned to her those sky blue eyes reminding her of the pack Alpha. Not a totally comforting thought, but Rum was different. She didn't care his race wasn't considered the smartest, everyone was treated as fairly as possible by her, or at least she thought so.
As he leaned down Shas allowed a human growl escape her chest, it wasn't treatening towards Rum but a sound of comfort for the pups. Smiling sweetly Shas almost laughed at his confused look. When he spoke again Shas felt like she was back with the pack.
"Then lets go to the Azure Islands, i hear they are really peaceful."
Shas giggled like the small girl she really was. No matter how hard she tried to be strong and survive on her own, she was still only 17 years old. Now she was a 17 year old girl with pups to look after.
Snaping herself out of the trance like state she was in she offered her hand to Rum, smiling hearing the happy yips of puppies in a bag. Wondering what they had found to keep them so happy Shas shook her head happily, ignoring how cold she was feeling, in the warm weather.
"Azure Islands ok with you Rum?"

The troll's ears twitched at the odd growl that came from the were-woman, oddly it almost reminded him of a feline's pur then her true species. Shas was far from the first werewolf that Rum had been around, though she was the first mother-wolf as their kind tend to be highly protective of their pups and some trolls gave the rest of Rum's race a bad name by eating the children of other beings. In light of this dark fact, this troll was quite glad to see Shas trust him, letting the bloated cook be so close to her pups as she comforted them. As Rum sort of lost himself in watching the young pups, Shas' sudden decision had startled the troll, causing his eyes to widen in shock.
The Azure Islands were an odd place for Rum, while he had returned to them several times in his wanderings, the troll always felt a little down when roaming around his homelands. It reminded him almost constantly of being forced out of his tribe. At the same time it was of course home, which cause Rum to feel at ease, giving the simple troll some rather complex and twisted emotions.
Rum stood there in silence for a moment as the normally soft hint to his eyes dulled. For a moment the troll almost looked depressed about something, but just as quickly as it had come, it passed.
"It is... It goods. Varry peeceful."
Rum's sharp ears twitched once more as he heard the puppies barking at something, the troll had no idea what they were going on about, but he could tell they were very happy. This drove away any remaining sadness that might have lurked in Rum, causing him to smile widely at Shas. But the pups also reminded him of his own pack. Slowly he reached back and felt around, making sure his pack, spoon and shield were all in place, Rum would be rather upset if he left even one behind.
Once that was done the troll turned his eyes to the ever flowing tide of beings that rushed through the streets. Rum was never all that confident about walking in cities, as he was constantly worried about hurting someone. He of course knew where the dock was and could make it there with little trouble, he only paused to see where Shas was going, as the 'leader' of this group, the troll felt like she should go first. That and she might have other plans for transportation and as a rule, Rum did not fool with the plans of beings far smarter then he, at least if they didn't involve hurting people.

Shas has started to feel protective of the pups, feeling almost like their mother but she would never beable to care for them as fully as their birthmother would have been able to. That thought made Shas pause and look at Rum.
She had felt his sorrow, and realised her choice was a bad one. His silence made shas shake her head and smile. She saw and felt that slight depression, when he spoke Shas shook her head.
"No, i know a better place. Lets go to the silver forest, see how many leaves are on the oak."
She saw his ears twitch and giggled as she felt the sorrow lift and saw the smile. Noting him checking everything made her think of the pack before a big hunt. That thought brought a mixture of feelings for the girl.
Seeing Rum pause made Shas her head and smile, placing her hand in his much larger one she turned them around, and started to walk smiling and humming a song.

Rum was a little lost in thought when he heard Shas change their destination, snapping out of it the troll have a small nod, not seeing anything wrong with that. Though he really didn't mind returning to his home island, he just hated knowing that there was one part he could never see again. Before he could start thinking again the troll found his large, ham sized hand grabbed in the much smaller one of the werewolf. The troll found himself almost being lead down the street, similar as one might a small child, which felt quite strange to Rum, but at the same time extremely comforting.
Rum glanced back at the woman once or twice, hearing her hum something under her breath, seeming for all the world a chipper young female. The troll had no idea what she was going to drag him into, but he was not about to let her and the puppies go alone.
So Rum was off again, a new partner to lead the way into the great unknown. The troll could only guess at what sort of trouble wolf-woman was going to get herself into, but Rum was sure someone like her would find a way.
