Danella swayed as she landed. The Gates of Hell transporter made one dizzy, like she had spun one hundred times in a whirlpool that was everlasting. Leaning on a tree, shaking her head, the woman tried to clear her mind. Though she had done the transport many times, she never got used to it.
Rubbing her eyes, the woman looked around. She was where she wanted to be, which was expected. But it was a shock that one could have such power to transport a being to another place entirely. It could be used to have enemy troops invade Hell or having Hell soldiers transported straight to their enemies' camps. Danella didn't care much for violence, though it seemed to control and dominate her entire life now. Blood, and watching it flow from the males she slaughtered like cattle.
Sighing and shaking her head once more, Danella straightened her clothes. Slinging the cloak tighter around her, she pulled the hood over her head, covering her face. She didn't know how wanted she was by this island's government by now but she didn't fancy being found. What she needed was supplies and a new job. Though she hated it, she felt the need to spill a male's life blood.
She sighed before pulling her knife from its sheath. She ran a loving hand over its ornate handle, pressing her finger against the snake's fangs on the handle. They too were sharp so if an enemy were to grab it, if not held correctly, it would draw blood. She planned to place potions on the snake's fangs but had none to spare. Hence the reason she left Hell.
Looking around, she spotted a figure whose back was too her. Walking silently she placed the tip of her dagger to the figure's back and her free hand on its chest. It was male, much to her pleasure...and displeasure.
"If I were you," she hissed, but still in her seductive tone she had come to adopt after many years of life. "I would give any and all of your goods to me in a timely manner."

This day had started out so nice, Kreep had returned to his home island to visit his family as well as peddle his wares. The Abyssian then even managed to sell some odds and ends, making a good sum of coins for his trouble. Even if he hadn't made some money, the trip to his family had been nice enough. Kreep's aunt had been pleased to see him, nearly crushing the small shrimp in a massive four-armed hug and only yelled at him for leaving her half of the time he visited. He and Thaller had just taken a relaxing day at the local river to trade stories. Kreep of his travels and his cousin of the strange happenings about their home town. They managed to keep from fighting for a few hours, a record of some sort.
But this all changed with only a few short words. Kreep had been ambushed from behind as he was trying to find a good place to set up his shop. Then all of a sudden he felt a hand on his shelled hide and something poking him in the back. Then he heard a hissed voice, clearly female and no doubt meaning some sort of harm to Kreep's person. Well, that just didn't sit well with this little shrimp...
"Question for my oh so smart sounding high-jacker...is the steel that your knife is made of punch through armor or have an enchantment to do the same thing?

Danella smirked. A male with guts, a rare treat. Most would just try to disarm her or merely plead for mercy. Such men were a joy to kill. A shiver ran down her spine just thinking about it. A shiver of excitement...and disgust.
"No sir," she said honestly, honey like sweetness along with malice lacing through her words. "However, it can easily find the weaknesses in one's armor." Slowly, she moved the knife up his back until the tip touched the nip of his neck. "And it seemed that your spine is unprotected right here...unless you somehow have something under your skin protecting you." If he did, she would have to ask where he got it. Something like that could be quite useful for someone in her...line of work. There went the shiver again.
Honestly, she hated what she had become, having a lust for bloodshed. It made her sick but it made her feel whole...or less empty would be a better way to describe it. She doubted she would ever feel completely whole again.
Danella leaned forward more, placing her mouth by his ear. Now about those goods..." she whispered. "Handing them over sooner rather than later would be more preferred. The again, I could always take them from your un-moving, cold body. But, then I would have to do something with you once i was done searching. And I rather not have a clean up job to do right now." She press her knife against his neck, drawing little blood onto the blade's steel. It seemed to quiver in her hand, although it was anticipating more than just a little bit of blood. "My steel would enjoy your blood but I'm willing to deny its wishes, if you move quickly..."

It wasn't hard to tell that Kreep's attacker was slightly more unbalanced then he had first thought. Nothing was quite as dangerous as a killer who gave into bloodlust and no longer cared about the world around them. Though her words only made the little shrimp steam up, forcing Kreep to clack his mandibles in anger, her talk of weak armor vastly hurting the small Abyssian's ego. He knew that the inland breed of his race did not have the raw strength or as thick shells as their cousins, but that didn't mean some crazy woman had to tease him about it!
"Spines are for pathetic soft-skin races...like you!"
If the attack to his ego wasn't bad enough, she once more brought up the fact that she wished to plunder Kreep's wares. While the shrimp like Abyssian would rather run away then start a fight, he had to draw the line somewhere and this was it.
Keeping his clawed arm pointed at the ground, Kreep clicked it open to blast a small clouds of steam down. The water vapor soon rose up, making it impossible to see much beyond a foot or so, the perfect chance to escape.
"I would have gladly sold you what you need, but you wanted to play thief!"
Obscured by the now slowly dissipating steam, Kreep managed to suddenly crouch down to avoid the woman's blade before managing to crawl out of the small steam cloud, breathing harshly as he tried to get a hold of his fear.

Hissing in anger, Danella threw her arm out in a sweeping gesture, her cloak flying around her and her hood falling from her head, revealing her face. The steam turned to large droplets and fell to the ground with loud splats. Now that the steam was gone, she could see her victim. An Abyssian. That explained a lot.
"You'll pay for that you little... Her voice trailed off as she heard the Abyssian's next words. "You are a merchant? Wonderful, your death will not be needed then." She placed the knife back in her sheath and raised both her hands to show her peace toward him. For now at least.
"I am in need of clothes, food and poison. I am sure you have all of these things. Even mediocre traders do." She was baiting him purposely now. To see him react to her.

As the steam began to fade away, Kreep got a good view of who his attacker was. He was unsurprised to find that the woman was a water spirit, they were an untrustworthy lot, sooner seduce and stab in the back then contribute to civil convocation. Kreep was considering blasting her with another gout of steam, at least up until he learned that she was looking for a few wears.
The Abyssian relaxed a bit as he brought up a hand to scratch the side of his cheek, considering the offer.
"My wares are pricy. But if you have the coin, I won't ask how you got such money or what the items in question are for."
Watching her carefully the shrimp like being opened his jacket so that one hand could dive in and pull out three sealed jars. He then held one is each of his three hands as he took a few steps closer to the woman.
"I'll start with your order of poison. I have a large selection open to you, from mold spores that will devour a man from the inside out, to basilisk venom which will kill in seconds on injection. I have nerotoxins that numb the muscles, keeping your victim alive or hemotoxins that dissolve flesh and bone, leaving only a puddle. And of course I have the antidote to each and every toxin, in case you change your mind or get some on yourself."
Kreep was fairly sure the woman was an assassin of some kind, as only assassins and demons ever wanted to buy poison from him. Not that it mattered to him, as long as he wasn't the target, Kreep would gladly supply any paying being with what they needed.
